        That's what I remember sticking out as fake off the top of my head. That doesn't mean the whole video is fake, but in my opinion, and not having seen the links you provided yet, I still say some of the scenes are faked. That doesn't mean they all are, but the issues I raised above need some explanation, don't you think?

          Not sure what you mean by this Dennis? One lady was on the phone and looking the other way from what I could see. Everyone else seemed to be watching very excitedly.

          How did the skateboard move so far through the grass, all the way up to that tree?
          Momentum from velocity perhaps? Underneath the skateboard is a remote control device attached from what I could tell.


          Many of the sources of my 'overkill' articles seem very legit to me. The YouTube channel quoted looks legit to me too.

          I'm not sure what your opinion on the Huffington Post is, but they reported on this cat too. This Is A Cat. On A Skateboard. (VIDEO)

          Their view is that some of the cat's tricks are aided by camerawork. However, they seem to give credit to the cat actually riding the skateboard. I have seen remote control devices with very well concealed components too.

            This is all I'm saying . . . well, that and some good editing. I have no doubt the cat can ride the skateboard, to what degree is the mystery.

            I'm sorry if my initial response didn't seem like I appreciated the video, I do. It's as entertaining as any. I actually appreciate good editing as well. I just have my doubts about some of the tricks. It's all good. The net needs skeptics, too.

      This is a real animal news article. A feature story on morning television news broadcasts showed clear, untouched footage of the talented cat on board. Just want to try and give true credit where it is due, for man or beast.

    You can see the wire pulling the skateboard along when the cat jumps over the second dog. Basically I think the cat is just standing on the skateboard while it's being towed when there are close camera shots and being pulled by the wire for longer shots. Still somewhat entertaining though.

          I spoke with the man who made the video and I am convinced that the cat is riding the board! No one suggested that the cat was providing legwork for board movement itself. She is on the board and she rides!

                  If you put a skateboard on the floor in my house - it wouldn't be long before a cat was sitting on it. Same is true for a newspaper on the floor - it's what cats do.

                  A cat will stay on a skateboard or in a wagon, etc for a certain amount of time - and that was cleverly edited mixing in backgroundss, etc - but I did catch a couple places where the editing was "off" (in one, the cat jump on the skateboard and then backwards up to the perch then down again - no cat does that).

                  It's fun and cute - took a cat willing to spend some time on a skateboard and ran with it. My son has one of those remote vacuum cleaners - he has two cats. One hides when the vacuum thingie starts up - the other cat jumps on it and takes a ride.
