Why Is It Hard To Have Consistency In Writing?

Why does writing have its ups and downs with fluctuations in the tone of written pieces? There is a period at the end of every sentence.

    Because each word is the symbol for an idea and each has many different associations coded with it, so each idea will have just a bit of variance from the next - some will be clearer, some, although closely related, will be murky. Some will have connotations attached that are not as easily defined. Some readers will react to different words or phrases just a little differently than others, too, for the same reason.

    Of course, too - some writers are just not all that good. LOL.

        I thought the comment about the period at the end of every sentence was humorous - especially when following a sentence ending in a question mark - but didn't realize you actually meant it to be funny.
