Thanks Jason. Some ghosts don't seem to understand the significance of Halloween. They will haunt ya at any time of the year! Think of this as the non-Halloween ghost thread.

My thought is that we all pretty much see the same things. Some see it through a "Supernatural" lens, and others do not.

A little background.

I am a spiritual person whom has been interested in meditation, metaphysics, esp, psi, consciousness and the paranormal since a very young age. I began meditating when I was around 13 and before that age had already had quite a few metaphysical and paranormal experiences.

I kind of stopped after that getting into my teenage years and then only began again once I found a good teacher at the age of 19.

I really dont like the crystal washing moon light new age crap as I also don't agree with most religion. I am spiritual and I am scientific. I believe anything that is of a spiritual or metaphysical nataure will eventually be validated by science.

From my personal experiences and knowledge I have accumulated over the years as well as a specific kind of logic I can tell you all that entities as the forms of passed humans as well as other types of entities do exist however unfortunately they are not as common as Hollywood would have us believe.

99% of the time IMO a haunting can be explained rationally. There are things with electro magnetism we are still figuring out and I think that holds certain clues as to the un-real AKA paranormal experiences people talk about.

One great theory based on some validated scientific data I have heard and hold as viable and likely belief is that when most people experience what they think to be a ghost or something of the sort it is more than likely a case of the sound or the apparition somehow being 'recorded' within the home e.g. walls, floor, stone, wood etc.

Essentially it is a recording of noises, voices and other audit-able sounds being recorded into things such as in this case pottery.

The question then begs. What other things can be recorded into material objects. Can audio also be recorded into plaster board which is made of minerals? Can it be recorded into brick and stone similar to pottery? Can it be recorded into wood which is made of lingen infused fibers?

What about visuals? Can hologram like visuals potentially be recorded into the same objects?

For me the answer is yes, yes and yes. Science may not have discovered the answers thus far. But i'd prefer not to wait.

The next question is how if audio and potentially even visual can be 'recorded' into material objects are they in a sense 'played back' and could this be an explanation into ghosts and haunting's?

I'm not a scientist but I believe there probably has something to do with the electricity, magnetic currents or anomalies, weather, humidity and temperature, similar to how a thunder or electrical storm is created when warm air rises.

Think about it. You always have the ghost appearing in the same hallway, its always standing or walking. Why does it always do the same thing? IMHO its a recording. Same with the voices. Why do they always seem to say "Hey" or "Hello" its because no doubt when you scream "Hey" its loud and possibly repetitive. Footsteps? Same thing. We know from thermal cameras that you can touch something remove your hand and you still see the heat marks left by your hand, what if foot steps along with the audio of the creaking of the floor panels do the same thing?

So what am I really saying?

Im saying that I believe ghosts and entities along with other paranormal activity is real, I just dont think it's that common.

Here is why.

For a ghost (the soul or energy left behind from a passed human) to inhabit the homes of all ghost stories there would have to be thousands of them, possibly hundreds of thousands or even millions as everyone seems to have a ghost story to tell.

Well, that would mean that all humans or a substantial amount would all have to have souls or energy bodies that could sustain themselves outside of their human bodies where they previously had the energy from plants, animals and sunlight to do so.

Two points here for your consideration. Does everyone just have a soul by virtue of living in a human body? I certainly don't believe so. I believe a soul or an energy body needs to be built through contemplation, thought, spiritual work with such things as meditation. Like a muscle I believe that soul/energy body needs to be fed and needs to be trained I also have experiences to back this up but that may be a little too much for this thread.

Science has told us we do have bio electro magnetic fields emanating from us, the heart creates some of these, are there others? I believe so. And I'm sorry, but I dont believe all humans have them, I believe they are built through concentrated effort. Sorry if that upsets anyone.

That's how I perceive it.

And what with people that have not built there energy bodies into souls after they pass? I simply believe that kind of like a water drop into an ocean that energy and awareness get's recycled into the body of what is the Earth as well as the Earths energy bodies. Their life's experiences, memories emotions kind of get evaporated into say another level of these energy bodies for the Earth similar to how when some of your cells die through you burning your finger and you then feel the sensation. Well that's not your finger per say that's a whole bunch of other cellular life that make you up, they just got burnt and died and you then felt the sensation. It was given to you as an experience.

In terms of demons and possession. I don't really believe in demons or possession. I believe you can have some dark entities that feed of off negative emotions and even to a point some entities that can build so much energy up that they can expel it and make a change in this dimension whether it be knocking over a chair or pushing someone over but I believe this is rare and that the entity would have to have obtained a certain amount of skill and energy to do so. I also believe there is a defense to this and have experiences to validate that (for myself anyway).

I simply don't believe in possession. Your frequency and vibration is associated with your physical human body kind of like a sort of magnetism its just anchored their and it cant be undone until death. Think of oil and vinegar you just can mix the two they are polar opposites. Another energy body would just be forced to move passed you or kind of through you kind of like when you try to push two negative faces of a magnet together they just oppose one another.

Anyway, enough ranting from me.
