Newbie Saying A Belated Hello And Thank You

Hello everyone

I joined a couple of days ago and I've just realised that I didn't introduce myself when I joined. I was so happy to be able to start participating that I just jumped in with replying to threads without even saying hello to you all. Please forgive my rudeness, I guess my eagerness to participate got the better of me

Like many others, I've been a lurker for a very long time (several months in my case). I've learnt so much from reading this forum and now that I've taken the plunge and signed up, I'm hoping to not only continue to learn from you all, but also share what has and hasn't worked for me in my ongoing on-line adventures

I haven't posted enough replies to be able to start thanking people under their posts yet, but many of you have already provided me with a lot of helpful advice and encouragement and I thank you all for that

I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all and I hope that I am able to provide some help to others, so that I can come here and give to others and not just receive help. To me that's very important, as I don't want to be known as someone who just takes from others. I really do believe that giving back is what makes all the difference
