Any video editors out there?

So I got a question regarding video editing software and another regarding the forums.

1. I'm trying to edit together some videos and match them to audio. Unfortunately, Windows Movie Maker is terrible and every time I replay the video the music isn't synced to where I had previously set it on my video clips. Can anyone recommend some decent video editing software? I don't mind paying like $50 if needs be.

2. When I try to visit the Warrior Book Club or High Voltage Video forums, the message says that I do not have permissions to access those sections. I became a War Room Member a few years ago, but is there a higher War Room Membership that you can get or are they just closed off to me for other reasons?

Thanks!

    1. I use Camtasia to edit videos, but I'm guessing Windows Movie Maker would work in the same fashion. If you have your audio and video on separate tracks in your timeline, when you edit one it will affect the other unless the other is locked. It sounds like that might be your problem.

    2. The Private Forums are all separate memberships. Joining one doesn't give you access to them all.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

In that price range... Sony Vegas Movie Studio, hands down. Even though it's Sony's "entry level" video editor, it's still 1000 x better than Windows Movie Maker. You can download a free trial here...
