    American Idol might start to get a higher quality of singers since The X factor was just cancelled after the current season and there will a little less competition for talent until Simon Cowell comes up with another karaoke contest or... maybe this little gal winds up on the Voice.

        When I go home to my Dad's house (he's 90 this year), I always know there will be a night of dancing with his crowd. I always have a good time with them because I used to teach dance and people my age don't know a lot of the ballroom dances that the older folk do, so it's not just obligation to make him happy - I actually have fun.

        Like I said - joy isn't age dependent. I find people who dance or sing much more generally happy and healthy people than those who don't. Don't be surprised if you find me competing for her title when I'm her age. I don't ever intend to stop dancing. I do, however, have respect for other people's eardrums and am pretty low key on the public vocals which in my case are: a.k.a. bellowing.
