Wait, what? I mean I know they have had a few million
years to evolve and adapt to their environment, but how
did my elementary school teachers fail to mention this?

What else don't I know? Can they fly, too!?

WHY would they really need to GRIP? Ever see the ninja claws? Crocodiles have them BUILT IN!

When I heard about this, it didn't seem that odd.

As for what else? Did YOU know that koalas can cause SERIOUS damage? And kangaroos can ALSO! Kangaroos have actually DISEMBOWLED big predators quickly and easily with their feet! You do NOT want to get them real angry at you.

How's THIS! A "KOSHER" Jewish family CAN get Cysticercosis! I say "KOSHER" because, by the letter of the old testament they AREN'T kosher, though many rabbis would disagree, etc.... And WHY do I mention kosher jewish? Because there is really NO way they could get Cysticercosis, but many "kosher" jewish have! HOW? They had MEXICAN illegal domestics!

For some crazy reason, doctors don't seem to understand the difference between a vector and a parasite. On medical mysteries, they kept stressing that you get Cysticercosis by eating pork. You don't. You get it by giving the PARASITE a foothold, and the most common way is eating pork. Dispensing with some ugly details, a mexican illegal(having at some point eaten or handled improperly prepared pork, or otherwise getting the parasite) could shake a jewish persons hands who he or she could them rub his or her eyes with, and he or she could get Cysticercosis.

MOST pork in the US is treated such that it is unlikely that you would get the disease by eating it. That isn't true of places like mexico.

I should say that it was funny when the doctor came up with the Cysticercosis theory and a coworker said "Better think of ANOTHER theory. THEY'RE KOSHER!"!

        It HELPS!

I don't think canadian or European are very likely to have this problem. The fact is that they WERE mexican illegals though.

Steve, I have to ask - how did you get from an alligator sunning itself on a tree limb to here?

So how was THIS filmed? I mean did it fall off a limb, or try to get an elephant that shook it off?

Sure they can climb trees. We used to bring in a few babies for christmas tree decorations when we had Christmas with the grandparents in florida.

    Yes - I am kidding.

Unfortunately - climbing trees won't help save them from these guys:

Steve.........could you possibly go any further off topic without falling off the edge of the earth?
