Jeez business ethics drive me freakin nuts anymore. I'm half past fed up. People are nothing but jackels when they get into mgmt/ownership levels of corporations. Fu...................

So I saw this ad for people to sell a natural product line. I went and checked out the website and their "offer" is basically MLM type crap - they want paying customers selling for them type crap. I was disappointed because I could have really raked in some cash on the products.

So anyway........when I checked out their site, apparently they captured my email, and sent me a cordial little message saying that they sent the link so I could check the site out again if I've forgotten. Right. Just on a day when I'm ticked at both an employer and client. So I just sent them a reply. I hope I twanged a nerve.

Please. I checked your "offer" out and, frankly, I'm just plain not impressed. Too bad - I liked the product line. Have nature junkies in my following all over the net, too. Then ya got sleezy when you set up the "offer"

Later. Much..........well, never. Okay?

Not sure if it will get a flinch or not but it made me feel better.

If nothing else, you at least confirmed your email address for them.

Sorry Sal, sometimes I just can't resist. It's not my fault, I was born that way. :p

Born right? LOL - um........I'd think you'd want that. Yeah, I know they got confirmation - but I really needed to send that one back. Serious, their brand hits my crowd - one of those yahoos in CS or HR might just actually know me - as an online presence anyhow. LMAO. This is a brand they should have been able to market with integrity - not having to make people buy xx amount monthly for the privilege of working for them. It's so insulting that I'm not sure how anyone can fall into that crap. I know there's a few people that hit good on such "offers", but it seems to take a sincere lack of ethical standards to bend to it. I require opportunities that allow me more pride than gravelling after every bone tossed in my direction. I wouldn't accept such an offer even if I were a regular customer. It's just damned demeaning.

So - I let off steam, and now I have a target to play with if they continue to send me mail. Sooner or later they'll get tired of the abuse and just drop me off. LMAO.

It feels good to do that now and then, no doubt. Of course, I've never done anything like that.

Yes, but you have the handicap of restraint.

I don't usually bother with things like this. They hit me when I needed to blow steam, so I did. Really - I don't expect it to do much - might even just have rendered me another automatic mailing. Still made me feel better to vent.

Basically - I'm just tired of people being so scammy and so "give me everything for nothing". It's been wearing on me for awhile now, and that was the third run-in in two days that intended me for their own use while offering me spit in return, and I got ticked. And that was more my point than the email itself. I can't believe how people act and treat other people anymore. Everyone has an "angle". Everyone is looking for how to "get-over" instead of wanting a quality association. Making me sick big time. I expect more from my species.

            Ha!

Way to go! I feel the same as you do.

They certainly picked the wrong lady to try to er, gently coerce with a friendly little reminder, haha!

The in case you had forgotten part would have got me going!

              way to go, Sal!
I think they got the message - I doubt it will stop them, though, unfortunately for the unsuspecting types.

I find it amazing that some sites do even worse...you never subscribe but you can't seem to unsubscribe. But there are so many stupid people out there who think that by sending you that crap, you'll be dumb enough to get sucked in.

Obviously you're not dumb in any way so keep smiling and don't let them get to you or they win.

Dennis IS right, and your email might go in a big VOID, but you DID tell them SOMEHOW!

I did the SAME THING once, and they took MY email, They used to email me as many as several times a day every day, and I doubt they ever missed a day. They now have little PERSONAL direct interest in doing so. They have only emailed me 7 times, in the 47 days of this year, or about once a week. Of course they started with ONE address, and now have several, so the INDIRECT mailings may be FAR more.

SERIOUSLY if they have a birthday, get a usually undeserved award, or have famous friends over, they send me email!
