      Dear Hopeless;

      Dan and I are both Jackasses?

      You have unleashed the storm.......I am the lightning!..and Riffle is the thunder! (OK, it's just him farting, but my expectations have adjusted)

      Here are the rules of Claudeism;

      You can call me anything, make fun of anything, as long as it is either incredibly clever...or funny.
      I have recently added that you can make fun of me, if you have good photoshop skills, and put my head on a baby.

      "It takes one to know"? I'm very sorry, but you'l have to do better than that. How about a picture of a combination Jack Rabbit and a Donkey? See? That would qualify as worthy.

      Or you could have simply finished your sentence. Here, let me help.... "It takes one to know one". Not great, but at least it's a complete thought.

      I don't make up the rules. I just fabricate them.

      What if they're not stars? What if they are holes poked in the top of a container so we can breath?

        Tsk, tsk, how quickly you forget. You yourself played quite a part in the original jackass-labeling on the MBTI personality test thread. All INTJs are allegedly jackasses, and that was what I was referencing.

        Are you sure that the lightning wasn't just a couple of your brain cells short-circuiting? It happens as one gets old...

        Does it have to be a baby? That's been done to death...

        No points there, I'm afraid. That was an "elliptical phrase."

        Never, ever, ever try to outdo me in grammar; you'll lose every time.

          Not bad. You're right, I did forget the connection to the "Jackass" labeling with the INTJ reference. One point for you. And the last sentence reads like something I would right myself. A little bragging...a little Pompous...just like me. Maybe 5 points.

          But I have to deduct a point because you are bragging about Grammar, and while not the worst skill to have.....if 8 year olds can do it..it isn't all that impressive.

          And although your post again proved that you are intelligent, I didn't feel insulted.

          Have you noticed how I keep critiquing you? Not only am I a jackass, I'm as judgmental as they come. :rolleyes:

            Spoken like someone with no idea of how deep the grammar rabbit hole goes. Grammar is somewhat like chess; 8-year-olds can learn how to play, but it takes a lifetime to master.

            That was not my goal.

            As with most INTJs, very little I say is meant to be taken personally, and I take very little of what's said to me in a personal way.

              It isn't like chess at all. Chess has a finite number of pieces. the alphabet has an infinite number of letters in it. (You have to be able to type these things with a straight face.)

              Good answer. It leaves me nothing to grab onto, and it's a class answer. OK, 5 more points.

    Well, those two guys are about as off topic as you can get most of the time with all their playful thread hijacking. I'm not sure we needed a whole thread dedicated to them, but whatever. They'll soon hijack this thread anyway, and turn it into something else, like, oh I don't know . . . grammar or something.

    Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

      Do you see how I was nice to Riffle in my Signature?

      I think I may have neutered him.

      I think it would be hilarious if I was just nice to him on the forum. I mean just say nice things to him, no matter how much he teased me. OK, now I can't do it, because I said it.

      Truth be told, it would get old after a few posts. It's only fun when someone can give as good as they get. And you can't keep being insulting, when someone is being nice to you. I've tried, and it doesn't work. (Meaning they were playing nice as part of the game. Not that they are really nice)

      I'll wait until I know Riffle read my signature, and then I'll change it back to something crassly commercial. Complimenting him just doesn't seem right.
