I'm browsing in this forum. Looking where new member like me can post my greeting and intro. I'm hoping that I'm on the right track to post my greeting. My name is Frank. Well, anyone can call me Franco as my alias. I'm new in IM business so, sorry if I will also take this opportunity to ask few question about backlink and why it is important in SEO.

Another thing is that what are the proper ways to get backlink?

    You've probably heard this before however it's worth repeating:

    The best way to acquire lots of high TrustRank backlinks is to create a website that is so valuable/useful/etc. that other people will link to you voluntarily.

    At the moment I'm reading “Outsmarting Google” (highly recommended, search on Amazon.com for a copy) and my SEO link strategy is to simply ask related websites for a link. (With a response rate at something like 1/15.)

    Again, the more valuable your website, the more people will want to link to you.
