There is a "No Hangovers" ad by the Marijuana Policy Project initially aimed at NASCAR fans which has tallied about 1.2-M views on Youtube.

The "War on Drugs" may not be completely over but its end is in full view, the movement is moving exponentially.

Stay tuned, this is an ongoing story, HEMP is a trillion dollar business.

      Outstanding!

Big money to be made, certainly enough to supersede the Big Pharma lobbyist who have been trying (successfully) to suppress the steady advancement of the cause.

Unfortunately, until federally mandated, Fascist employers like mine will continue to pee test and get breaks on their liability insurance for having a "Drug-Free" workplace.

      Hooey.

I would rather employ a stoner than a drunk, all day.

It's interesting where the cannabis culture should be and where it's going.

There are some good and bad and I'm "guessing" there is more good from a health benefit over bad.

When compared to cigarettes and alcohol, NO WAY should those be legal and not cannabis. Makes no sense what so ever to me.

Now businesses are capitalizing on this phenomenon as there is now an MLM company in prelaunch or about to launch I'm not too sure.

If you really study the history man took it away from us for their own selfish reasons and the cotton industry had a lot to do with it.

There are many studies showing how it can/may fight cancer and cure it. If this is accurate how can man continue to keep it away?

    Interesting overall,

I've never seen a shred of evidence to suggest that it cures cancer. Give me a link or two.

As for TV, cigarettes are restricted from TV advertising, so it wouldn't surprise me if Marijuana was also.

Checking those resources, I'll pass reading them. I read the one from National Cancer Institute and that is pre-clinical trials on mice and rats. Not saying that it doesn't have some potential, but it's a long way from being a cure for cancer that is actually in use as a cure for cancer. As for alternative medicine to cure cancer, no thanks. Didn't work out well for Steve Jobs.

And using conventional approved methods didn't work out so well for my wife.
After watching her go through a drawn out painful death, I'd try cannabis oil and a couple other "alternative" methods, if I had cancer. Either way it should be a personal decision.
People are being cured of cancer using cannabis oil, just because you don't like the studies doesn't change that.
I'd suggest you go to Phoenix Tears and look around, but I already know you'll just call what's there antidote evidence and not real scientific proof.

Sorry to hear about your wife. The sad fact is that cancer kills. We all have our own choices to make. I'd choose conventional, you choose alternative. I'm not going to argue over your own choices, but personally, I will discount information on sites like cure your own cancer. org and soren dreier . org whoever he is. I choose medical information from conventional medical organizations. You can choose whichever you prefer.

Anyone brave enough to try more unconventional medical methods gets my nod of approval. For many, it can be an avenue of last resort after unsatisfactory results from mainstream sources. No one person, organisation, or treating system has all the answers.

There are political ads for MJ on TV. However, here in Colorado it's illegal to advertise MJ on TV and billboards (maybe radio?).

However, you can advertise MJ in print and on the Net.

What kind of ads are they running? Selling the pot and/or accessories? I'd love to see one of the print ads.

Ads for recreational MJ shops, medical dispensaries, MJ plant "clones", "edibles" and accessories.

This is the Westword "flipbook", which is the online version of the print newspaper. Westword is Denver's largest "alternative" newspaper:

        Denver Flipbook -

Go the the last page, then view the last dozen or so pages. That's about where the MJ ads begin.

"Rec" and "Recreation" mean that anyone over 21 with a valid ID can buy MJ. Dispensaries require a doctor's note and "medical MJ redcard".

Clones are snips of a pot plant that will grow into a full plant. In Colorado each person can legally grow 6 plants at a time, although Denver limits it to 12 per household.

Denver has more medical and rec pot shops than liquor stores or Starbucks.

Although this site doesn't really have ads, it's a site owned by the Denver Post newspaper and is dedicated to the MJ culture. They review MJ strains and shop, etc.

        http://www.thecannabist.co/

The Denver Post and Westword are about as "legit" as it gets.

Cancer doesn't kill in my family. Doesn't even kill family pets. I would not consider pot as the ultimate and only solution to cancer, however claims made by people who swear it cured them are growing. I don't believe in one thing, hit or miss, with cancer -- I throw the damned book at it. Every cancer killer known to man -- EXCEPT traditional medicine. I have no interest in being part of their financial bleed and kill schemes. Don't need them either. They've built up so much unnecessary fear about an illness that can be reversed and killed without drugs it makes my stomach roll. My sister would probably have had mastectomies and be deadly ill due to radiation right now if she hadn't seen Ricky go from near dead to healthy and happy with her own eyes. Once you see someone heal from it, you will never be fooled or be scared by a diagnosis again.

Cancer kills, to be sure. But traditional treatments ravage the human body.

My niece died of colon cancer at 18. And I do realize that CANCER killed her (not the treatments). But the treatments sucked the life out of her.

Same with my mother - lung cancer. Radiation burned her but good, the chemo drugs also did a number on her.

I WISH there was enough evidence for something like cannabis curing cancer. Then my sister would have tried it with my niece and we could have tried it on my mother. At this point, I am the only one in my family that would probably even consider alternative treatments. And that's not to say I WOULDN'T try traditional methods. Some actually DO work. But having more options for treatment is always better for everyone.
