it kinda looks like a Scarlett Macaw with a flat top hair doo ...

Something about that pic just does NOT look right.

It fooled me too. I showed it to my son, hoping to astonish him, but he saw it was a woman right away and just asked me, "Why is that woman covered in paint?"

Nice Its my boys bedtime or i would ask him now.

I will try tomorrow and let you know what he says ... if anything.

Its not the space shuttle, race car, angry bird or a ninja ...
So he might just barely look, say "its a red bird silly " and then run away

Every kid is different. Does your son happen to like watching Evantube? I think they got their start making Angry Birds stop-motion animation videos. My son is primarily interested in Lego and Lego people.

I saw another one that guy did, it was five women positioned and painted to look like a tree frog. It was incredible. I wonder if that guy does any subliminal advertising?

Yeah - it's real. There's a guy that paints women and poses them to look like wildlife. He's just bizarre good at it. His "paintings" are electrifying. It's also the reason I wondered if he did/does subliminal art for ads.

That's amazing. He's really good. Do you (or anyone) know where his website is?

Haven't a clue now. Saw it on my FB and can't remember the guy's name now. The frog was made of 5 women. It was very bizarre once you could see the shapes the women were posed in to get the total effect. I'll see if I can find it again for ya.

Okay - I found the pic. I didn't see anything about the artist, though. I'm not sure they were both the same guy. I didn't realize that this was such a widespread art now. Anyhow - looks like the work of the same person:

Okay - here's some about the guy that made the parrot - I think it's the same guy as the frog. He's a world champ body painterJohannes Stoetter: Body-painting artist creates amazing image of a parrot from a female model | Metro News.

That frog is excellent. Thanks Sal.

Alistair, I saw that name but had three search windows open at the time doing some research and didn't want to open another. I just came in here for break, and figured I'd ask if anyone knew the link offhand. I appreciate you (and Sal) ferreting out more info and the site links. Thanks!

Great Photos. Generally most of us automatically thought about wildlife when we first saw the photo of the parrot and then the frog. It's making me think outside the box. Thanks for exercising my mind.

I hear he got started at body painting when he was destitute in Arizona, trying to find solace by gazing upon the former home of author Aldous Huxley. That is when he met none other than legendary door-to-door salesman Horace Bartholomew Schmidt, The Man In The Plaid Suit himself.

Hearing of the artist's sad situation, the great door-to-door salesman gave him -- free of charge, apart from a $10 handling fee -- a body-painting kit, complete with body paint, a how to manual, a map to the nearest park where he could get started, and times he could work, which happened to perfectly match the times when police were absent.

Did you read this? Oh, I'm sorry.

Body Painting Kit - That would be a best seller on ClickBank.

There's also a contortionist I saw on YouTube.
She gets painted and poses like animals - leopard was one, I think.
It was very similar. I can't find the link to save my life.

Wow... that definitely fooled me at first glance. I thought, why is TB posting a picture of some stupid bird? Amazing stuff.

Not sure if this is the one you're referring to, but it's another very good one (there's a woman hidden in there)...
