RIP - L'Wren Scott, Fashion Designer and Girlfriend of Mick Jagger, Found Dead in NYC.

DESIGNER L'Wren Scott has been found dead in her New York apartment in an apparent suicide. The 49-year-old designer was found hanging from a scarf by her assistant this morning.

Scott began dating Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger in 2001 and a spokesperson for the singer, who is currently in Australia touring, said today that he was "completely shocked and devastated" following the model and designer's death. A spokesperson for Scott could not be reached.
I've always admired this lady and feel saddened that she must have been experiencing a very troubled life. One of my true celebrity crushes in her younger days, tall, gorgeous and such magnificent presence.

I had a ticket to see the Rolling Stones in concert next Tuesday. Now expecting the show to be cancelled - condolences to their main man.

      Debt can do you in big time, one thing that bothers me really though, was she too proud to ask for help from Jagger or just him being too cheap to help her, i know this is not cool comment to say but it really bothers me, i really liked her also, read quite a lot about her from before, she had 3 mill USD in debt last year and this year it run to 7 mill USD already so she had to cancel just before some big fashion show, i guess that pressure hit home bad Rest in peace beautiful mind! you will be missed here

        A very sad story. Perhaps her accountant was not doing a great job, or her business advisors? And who knows what Mick Jagger's finances are really like? Still touring, perhaps he needs the earnings. Afterall, look at all of Michael Jackson's debts etc, revealed when he died.

          i doubt they need any earnings...last 10 years tour income only over 1 billion USD gross revenue, Jaggers personal wealth over 300 mill USD They are not known some crazy money wasters like Michael Jackson had a habit for doing.

    David, just watching news on this on ABC24, where apparently the Stones are about to make an announcement regarding this and whether the tour will go ahead or not.

    It is tragic that people who would seem to have it all still have internal turmoil so heavily that they will do this. I'm very sorry to hear it. My condolences to Mick. I imagine he is devastated.
