Best vacation deal site?

Mostly looking for a site where it finds the cheapest time to vacation.

All of them find a deal for a specific date, but what if I don't have a date in mind? Like I want the cheapest week in a 3 month range or something.

Is there anything like that?

This is the site I use which pulls data from all major vacation sites including Expedia, Hotels.com and Agoda.

I manage a hotel and would say to call area hotels directly and ask them.
In my case, we do change prices daily sometimes - sensing the market and
competitors. Even so, we are generally in the same range ($5 to $10 difference)
for at least a month at a time. Mid April to Mid May and Mid October to Mid November being
our slowest time and lowest prices.

This is what I do as well. I usually pull a list of local hotels first, visit their websites and then contact them. In many cases, they would prefer to sell to you directly for a cheaper price instead of paying commission to those hotel sites.

Exactly true. We only offer AAA/AARP and military discounts, etc. to those who
book direct with us. Also, you can get the no walk away price of the moment
when dealing direct. Best current room inventory and selection information too.
And, accurate on the ground local information for what you want to do or go to.

One of those online travel agency sites had the mileage and drive time to our
legal gambling towns way shorter than actual. I think they wanted to sell more
rooms and get more commission. I was told for about a year that their "worldwide
mapping department" used crow's fly distances and they could not change the
information they were giving on the phone and on their website.

When we travel from one place to another place, we definitely search for the rental accommodation. While compared to previous days, A tremendous change will be placed on this aspect. Best featured rental homes are one of the most selected sources for many of us.

  • This site is great for searching for flights. Not only does it tend to find the lowest prices, it gives you a lot of freedom with your time frame and location.

For instance, say you live in New York and you have some vacation time coming up next month but you're not really sure where you want to go.

Enter in New York, select your dates, and set your destination to "United States" or "Anywhere" and it will bring up a list of prices to every state or country from lowest to highest. Then you can select one to narrow it down by city.

It's also useful if you want to fly to a particular country or state but want to land at the cheapest airport (there can be differences of hundreds of dollars choosing one over the other). Just select "California", for instance, and compare prices for LAX and SFO.

Another scenario, say you want to go to Hawaii but you haven't put in your vacation request yet. Set New York for departure, Hawaii for destination, and "whole month" or "whole year" as your dates and it will give you a bar graph showing you prices for every day of the month. It will also show you the cheapest price for each month.

I can play with that site for hours sometimes just looking at all the possibilities. It also offers a hotel search but unfortunately, it doesn't allow you the same freedom for searching.

Maybe you can contact the travel agency, what month they usually give promo or discounts.
You can also check this site and might find a good date you want. http://skivacationpackages.co.uk
