OK, earlier it was a baby, now a 40yo deaf woman. BTW this is ANOTHER thing substantially researched and tested in the US. A few doctors worked in their respective disciplines, etc....

That's pretty cool. I saw a video of a young woman, late teen or early twenties I'd guess, a couple years ago when she had her cochlear implants turned on. She had a very similar reaction. It probably would be a little emotionally overwhelming hearing for the first time.
