Today the ICJ (International Court Of Justice) voted 12-4 to end Japan's "scientific research" in the Southern Ocean, or wholesale slaughter of whales as it is known to the rest of the world.

It was Australia that took them to court over this abomination.

Today, we are all Australian .

PS After losing to the Netherlands in the T20 Cricket, it might not be a good idea to admit to being a resident of "that island off the coast of Europe".

Why do garden gnomes smell so bad?
So that blind people can hate them as well.

They don't. They just have 11 blokes run out on to the oval, then a few hours later make them run back into the pavilion again.

Yeah, mind you, they ran back into the pavilion with your ashes the time before last. :p

That was a fluke of course.

Good. This is how it should have been handled all along, instead of the Sea Sheppards going wild wild west on them.

Yet I wonder if it would have happened at all had some extremists not been shining a light on the atrocities.

Apparently they have said they will, and there's no appeal process at the ICJ.

        We shall see.
