Apparently people were teetering on being upset in Albuquerque, NM. Apparently the LAST draw was when a homeless man was told to get out of an area, and treated like there was inevitable harm that might come from his refusal. To kind of reset things, they got a new chief of police. Well, though he had a LONG time to consider his answer to this question that was likely to be answered, he decided to answer with an answer that basically meant "HAHA! FOOLED YOU! *****NOTHING CHANGED!*****".

So how did the people respond?

    I think these riots are going to continue and spread across the country. People are just damned sick of having cops think they can kill anyone, or even family pets, just because someone stuck a badge on them and let them wear a uniform. This is not the work of civil servants - it's the act of lawless thugs. If the only way these people are going to be held accountable for outright murder is to hold riots, then riots it is. It's purely the choice of our "authorities" whether to be corrupt and power hungry or to act with dignity and respect for the population that they are meant to serve.
