Since Denver is my home town, and is called the "Mile High City" because it is 5280 feet above sea level...do I win a prize?

I fear this is one of those questions where peoples answers are going to come from their mind, unless it's Dan or Claude, or like Kurt, you're technically an honorary life time member.

If it's the club involving air travel - proud member. Just because I refuse to fly now, doesn't mean I always did. I used to run with a crowd that liked to charter planes for short jumps to fun places for dinner and dancing.

I am going to have to fly in July again and am absolutely sick about it and there isn't a man alive that could change that around for me.

I'm pretty sure David's talking about having sex on a plane.

Is that the same club, only you took it further and had dinner and a dance as well?

Jeez, I'm missing out over here.

    That's the club.
The dinner and dancing was on the ground. Champagne in the air.

Lol - our group rented a bus one year to go skiing at Boyne Mt (bunny hill compared to real ski slopes) in MI and were asked to never come back again, too. From what I remember of that night we had a pretty darned good time.

Holy sweet baby blooming bloody nora Sal.

hats off to you. So you actually had a good dinner and a dance and then went up, quaffed a bit of champagne then banged away until the plane landed?

      I swear I haven't lived yet.

No actually we had the champagne on the way to the dinner and dancing. The dinner and dancing is why we needed the plane. It was a private charter. We used to do that twice a year, so Mile High Clubers were just about everyone in our crowd. We were young, crazy, and had a lot of money to blow. That was in the days before I discovered tennis shoes. We drank a lot of Dom, dusted a lot of lines, and listened to a lot of Steely Dan.

What can I say? I'm an adventure junkie, and severely spontaneous. My parents used to take me all kinds of places and we did all kinds of things.

When I was just out of high school my high school sweetheart joined the army. When it was time for him to take off for Germany, we were at the airport and he said he had time to call for a 4 day leave asked me to marry him and come to Europe with him. I had 10 minutes to decide. It was mind boggling to me for a minute - then he said "hey, if it doesn't work out, at least you got to live in Europe for a year."

LOL - I was married 2 days later. Spent a year and a half in Germany traveling around the continent. The marriage dissolved a year after I got home, but I've got some absolutely incredible memories.

Just kinda how I live. Some people would hate it. As for myself, I can't see a point in looking for too much security on a planet that's going to kill me in the end no matter what I don't do.
