I have only posted the headline and body of the Craigslist ad:

(A long time ago Aspen did open up their trash dump
to the public because the wealthy "throw away" a lot
of very nice stuff - furniture, electronics - from their vacation homes.)

    At first, I was amazed at the audacity of asking
    for a free newer jeep or rover. Then, I wanted to
    know how people here would weigh in on the request.

    Is it an entitlement thing? Is it someone who has gone through
    hell and really does need a good mountain car to get back on
    their feet? Is it a joke?

      I happen to associate with people from all walks of life.

      Many of them do ask for things ... and get it.
      When they ask the right person for the right thing at the right time.

      I have seen many cars given away.

      Heck I gave two away in my life time.
