This name would be out in Iceland because C is not a letter that exists in the Icelandic alphabet. As of 1991, the Icelandic Naming Committee decides whether a new given name is acceptable.
Shouldn't that be the Icelandic Naming Ommittee?

Shouldn't it be Ielandi Naming Ommittee

How can you spell the name of your country without the proper letters? Invent a "C" already.

There ARE defacto exclusions in the US as well! We don't have umlauts, tildes, rings, various diacriticals, etc... AND, if you happen to have an apostrophe in your name, WATCH OUT at the airport!

Did YOU know that the name of the land called "copenhagen" does NOT have a "C", an "O", or even a "G"? It's TRUE! It is spelled: "København ø". Most people leave off that last ø, but it is there! Please note, English does NOT have the ø. We can't even spell Aarhus, because THAT spelling is wrong ALSO. It is spelled: "Ã...rhus".

Dick is used for Richard all the time and also to identify someone as, well, a dick, hence the expression, dickhead. One of my favourites.

I don't mind someone calling me dick to my face so long as that person doesn't mind wearing my beer after. And buying me another.

A guy in one of my classes in high school had the surname Licker. His parents gave him the first name Richard. Because he stood six foot six at age fourteen, no-one called him anything other than Richard.
