Google Glass in social situations - Yay! or Nay?

Do you think it's now socially acceptable to use thingees like Google Glass at bars, pubs, outings, PTA meetings etc.?

Or is it an invasion of privacy that will only get worse?

I'm a weee bit resistant to the idea meself.....

    I think it would be pretty obnoxious to wear $1500 on your face in a social setting.I watched a video where some girl was showing off her glass in a bar and someone took it along with with her purse and phone

    Seems just about anything is socially acceptable, nowadays. Myself, I wouldn't waste my money on them - just a personal preference.

    Like Karen, I also like to be "unplugged" in social situations.
