How many Tabs/Browsers/Software Do you Keep Open

On average how many tabs/browsers or software do you keep open.

Im one of those people I always have tons of tabs open from gmail, keyword research, my blogs, websites, forums, youtube or any other work im doing. I think i end up having around 18-20 tabs open in Chrome.

Then I also use firefox for gmail for another business program that I run, and my facebook business page and PPC.. for whatever reason I cant log in simultaneously to facebook ads and my personal fb from the same browser.

Oh and then i also have about 5 excel sheets open for various work and not to mention all of my Instant messengers, my PC makes good use of the 8 gigs of ram and still runs sluggish.

      I have two or three. That's enough for me.

      All of the other things I check periodically I have stored in my bookmarks for easy access. I don't really see the need for having tons of tabs open all of the time if I'm not using them all simultaneously. It just seems a waste of space and available resources.

      It seems just as crazy as having both the television and stereo and iPod all running at the same time right beside the space heater and fan.

      But hey, that's just me.

    Too many. It is a problem because I get too lazy to stick things in favorites. It is a problem if the computer does updates in the middle of the night and I got 20 important tabs open.

    It varies depending on what I am doing. But I honestly wonder what the point of questions like this really are. What I do in no way affects you.

    Are you sure you are not describing my laptop's screen?
    Me too....and it does take me some time to find the page I was before LOL
    but i suppose it is easier having these open all day
