Charged with walking?

These guys have created an inner sole which uses the mechanical energy of your weight against gravity to push down on a little mechanical servo which produces electricity to charge any USB device every time you take a step. Simple, brilliant.

How it works:

Generate
To generate power by walking, place the cut-to-fit SolePower insole in any shoe. SolePower insoles meet podiatrist recommendations for size and comfort. The insoles are all-weather and water resistant.

Store
The power generated while walking is stored in an external Power Pack. This Power Pack is waterproofed and can be placed inside of a fabric holster that integrates with the shoelaces to create a secure and comfortable attachment.

Charge
Charge mobile devices by connecting them to the Power Pack's USB port. Almost any device that can be charged using a computer USB port can be charged by the Power Pack at the same charging speed.
Brilliant!
