So that blind people can hate them as well.

      Got 3 right!

      So...

2] Flight of the Phoenix, (the old one, not the crappy new one).

      and

4] Planet of the Apes are two of them!

They are pretty obvious, so l listed those, so others can suffer a little less! :p

      hmmm, got 2 right!

Yep, Stripes is the first one!

Guys, try not to name the order, so others can have the fun of trying to figure out the rest or matching the movie with the name!:p

I shouldn't give clues at this point, but l will say that two of these use computers as the main theme in the movie!

I am also pretty sure none of these movies are make after 1990!

DOH!!! I'd have got that one right if I'd watched it when it was on the telly a couple of nights ago. That'll teach me for going to bed early.

Don't be too hard on yourself, last time that was on was about a year ago.

Then it was on once or twice before that after 10 years of nothing!

Well people in Au, who can afford the $135 a month for the Foxtel Low IQ package, no doubt can watch it twice a year?

But it seems that the Free to air channels are starting to realize that most don't have enough money to subscribe to that, (or are illegally streaming it online) so they are finally starting to put decent movies back on again!

When I was in the Navy and stationed overseas, videos were our second favorite pastime (next to drinking - which we usually did together with watching movies...). I haven't seen a few of those movies since then, like Soylent Green - but the memories of the movie parties are still there.

That one I couldn't get seems so familiar. I can't place the actors name either... oh well.

He, he, l'd better give a small clue!

It was a popular movie with a great soundtrack!

And the background scene almost gives it away!

                "You are still fat"!

Ok, I have to admit, I did not know this one. But your last clue allowed me to track it down.

I did not see this movie and in fact, never heard of the actor (which by the way - his MOVIE name is Miles. But that's not his real name ).

I was watching the movie on Youtube and your scene was at the 26:22 mark

I won't give it away since I had to look it up. Good one though.

Same here. It took a while after going through all sorts of movies with computers in them, from Weird Science, to Sneakers, to Hackers, to War Games.

All I needed to do though was to plug it in before I could realise my dreams (another hint for those still wondering about it).

I remember at the time that first came out I got dragged along to see it by my girlfriend at the time. I thought it was crap based on the fact that it seemed to more of a vehicle to promote a soundtrack rather than an actual movie. Plus I've never liked "rom-coms", especially those aimed at teeny-boppers.

At the time I hated the kind of music it featured as well. I was more a fan of The Anti-Nowhere League, rather than The Human League (a BIG hint there for everyone).

All up though, a good challenging quiz. Well done.

                      What's next?

Hmmm, l thought that the music was pretty cool, especially the computer advert one, but l agree particularly silly movie, Tron was probably a bit more realistic!

Thanks for the feedback, it took quite a bit of time to edit it together, and l tried to make it funny, since l can avoid copyright issues, by making it funny!

Another one, groan, l may have to go back to still images again, (quicker) but l will try to keep Claude and attractive women at a distance.

Some are easy and some aren't, but l suspect that the soundtrack probably gives some of these away! Sniff!

                            No takers?

Maybe it is too hard, ok, here are some clues!

[1] A recent film that grossed over a billion!

[2] Pretty old, but still a classic, made in England.

[3] Another oldie, but goodie. The media was portrayed as uncovering the truth and exposing it to the world, no matter what, a quality sadly lacking in today's world!

[4] Well it has Eddie Murphy in it, should be an easy one?

[5] Is probably a hard one, but l will say most of the story is based after a Third World War happens!

[6] Another classic, should be easy.

[7] Another old one, but the rocket taking off is still a cool effect!

[8] This one has aliens in it!

[9] The last is old, and probably a tough one, so l will say that it involves time travel! And has a cool ending.

[5] Ok, it also had mutated, killer cockroaches in this one, yuck!

[6] Shows how the main actor can take over a corporation in a few weeks!

[7] He does burn US money to light a cigarette, in this one!

[8] And it also has a cool energy sphere, that goes through anything, still a cool effect considering this was an 80's film!

[9] It also has some particularly dumb individuals in this movie, and they end up stuck about 100 years in the future. With radioactive mutants of course!

                                  ...and that's all I got
WOW, you must have had a lot of parties!

Yep, got them all except for two!

I was surprised you got Damnation alley, although being in the navy, the Generals were probably looking at the cool rotating 3 tires on the RV's and saying, "we want one"! He, he!

Ok, l will give some more clues for the last ones...

[7] They used a ramp for the rocket!

[9] This was made in the 60's, and had a cool fast frame sequence at the end. Don't want to say any more about that one, l need at least one tough one!

Still stuck, ok, more clues!

[7] As said before this movie had a cool ramp up a hill for the takeoff.

And the story centered around a star system and planet headed towards Earth, on a collision course or course!

Made in the 60's, but still a classic! :p

[9] Ok, this one had mutants and an advanced civilization in a crater, building a rocket that would allow them to colonize another planet, (l think that it was Mars) and get away from the pesky mutants!

This also had silly looking androids!

And a stupid comedy relief, that was more stupid than relief!:p

      Niah, sorry, good try thought!

I am too lazy to check, but l have a suspicious feeling that it could have been one of the moons around Saturn or Jupiter that they were headed for, but of course the pesky mutants got in the way!

I haven't checked, but the movie is probably available online, in a free, streaming sort of way!
