Wowsa. Rock and roll will never die.

Ann and Nancy Wilson are backed by a great chorus on this outstanding version of "Stairway to Heaven" at Led Zeppelin's Kennedy Center Honors show.

    That is a great rendition of the song, Joe. If you haven't seen it, Lenny Kravitz did a nice job with Whole Lotta Love from the same ceremony.

    Wow... I did not think I was going to like that. I hardly ever like hearing someone trying to perform the greatest song. They never do it justice. That was amazing however. - I'm going back to watch that one a few more times.

    Yeah, that rendition is six minutes of pure Heaven! No doubt about it.

    Two of my all-time favorites for sure... Not only is it a great rendition but it was nice to see Page and Plant thoroughly enjoying the jam as Steve mentioned.

    I am big Korn and Godsmack fan these days, but it's never the wrong time to get the Led out. Hell, Heart still sounds great too. The Wilson's and Heart have done some great covers over the years, and while I have heard this version before it's the first time I have seen the video.

    For those interested...on an album released back in 1999 titled British Rock Symphony, Ann Wilson covers Stairway to Heaven. It's an album consisting entirely of covers by various artists and on there as well is a version of Kashmir done by Ann and Roger Daltrey. You can cue the album up on Spotify if you like.
