hi i don't want to get sued for spam but i know there are legal ways to do this. there are lots of business on craiglist and i want to email them saying that "i saw their ad" in the subject i would put i saw their ad in the message i would tell them that i saw their ad and i think i can help their business grow if they use my service i can help them advertise their business a lot. now is this legal to do.. i know spam is when you harvest emails from web site but this is not harvesting exactly i am responding to an ad... i read their ad and i think i can help their business grows i want to email 1million people...
1. is this considered spam ?
2. how can i do it so that it is legal?
3. is there any legal way of emailing business?
4. for opt-in list do you know where i can get GOOD BUSINESS op-in list.. i am promoting only to businesses not consumers... anyone know where i can get list of business i can email to

    Spam isn't just harvesting emails - spam is sending unsolicited advertising. Period.

    1. Yes that is spam, no it's not legal, it's not ethical, and it's not real bright.
    2. You can legally email a business if you get them to opt in to be mailed to.
    3. You can email them legally if you are interested in what THEY are offering.
    4. Not sure where you can BUY a good list - you might just have to become a marketer and BUILD one of your own.
