Which of the 4 for FREE and which one for paid. I belive AVG and Avast have fiewalls for free. I think ESET has one for paid. I believe malwarebytes is the one one that doesn't check my email...OPINIONS, please

    I would recommend you Avast, it's free for personal use and does the job just fine.

    Avast and i will recommend microsoft security essentials i am using it. it is best antivirus as ever.

    If you're on Windows 7 Microsoft Security Essentials.

    If you're rocking Windows 8 Windows Defender.

    Those both provide adequate "real time" protection and double as file scanners.

    Malwarebytes is a fine "secondary" scanner, and the best in class "free" scanner is Emsisoft.

    Just my $.02, I'm sure a few Microsoft haters will contend my efforts.

    I am use Avast Free version. i think Avast is also good working with my computer. when it found any Malware then it just make sure me this message. Very good. But sometime it stooped automatically. that time i do not know why it done with me. i feel very uneasy on that time..

    I use Avira and then Malwarebytes and Superantispyware. I also use Ccleaner to clean up all the crap.
