Why do garden gnomes smell so bad?
So that blind people can hate them as well.

My favorite football team is the New England Patriots! The very first game I saw them play was when my dad took me to see the Boston Patriots play at Fenway Park.
Since then they changed their name to New England Patriots, got a new logo and are on their second real stadium. A lot has changed.
Oh .... and they won three Super Bowls!

American football? The Bills. The only NFL team that actually plays home games in NY...

My Dad is a New York sports fan. Whenever I see a Yankees, Bills, or Sabres jersey, I think of all the good times we've had, and still do, watching those games together. Not as often as we once did, but the impact doesn't change.

Win or lose, never change your colors!

You don't say? My dad was Yankees fan from the days of Ruth and DiMaggio and my 29 year old son is a lifelong Bills fan and he was raised in Illinois. Yeah, we sure had a lot of Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, and Andre Reed talk at my house over the years. I think he has been rooting for the Bills since the season of Norwood's infamous 47 yard wide right effort back in '91.

For a short time Jim Kelly was affiliated with the Rochester Raiders, which was an indoor team that played in a league I did photography for. The Raiders were a bad a$$ indoor team back then and think they got Kelly a token owner or front office position just to drive some hype and boost their marketing efforts.

Yeah, football lost a couple legends of the game recently losing both Ralph Wilson and Chuck Noll.

I agree that true fans never change their colors as I have been a Steelers, Reds, Knicks and Canadians fan since 1969. Living a large part of my childhood in Iowa we did not have any pro teams to root for so you had to pick 'em from wherever. That 1969 Steeler season was a 1-13 effort but they persevered and eventually became football royalty. Unfortunately the Knicks have not done much since the days of Walt Frazier, Willis Reed and that team is long overdue.

As far as baseball goes, while I am Reds fan my second favorite team has always been the Yankess...Catfish Hunter, Reggie Jackson and the rest of those players did it for me. To this day Billy Martin is still my all-time favorite MLB manager.

      Cheers

If we are talking about Soccer, then I'd say Brazil or USA.

If we are talking about football, the 49ers.
