Hi all! I am fairly new to this website and also new to the whole 'internet marketing' world.I would like to say 'hi' to everyone on this site and words can't express how much happy I am after I've discovered a community like this. I am financially struggling right now and I don't have whole lot of money to invest on ebook and products. I would like to know on where a beginner like myself should start out. Any tips and advices are greatly appreciated!

First piece of advice, read these two threads and admin blog for a quick rundown of the rules.

There are a lot of great threads to read through on the Warrior Forum. A few suggestions are listed below. If you come across anything by Alexa Smith, be sure to focus on whatever she shares. You won't regret it.

      Welcome to the forum MUSER88

I'd recommend learning about the basics, such as the different ways and places you can create your own blogs and websites. Learn a bit about getting traffic too.

You will find a wealth of information on this forum.

Welcome to the forum. The first tip for you:

Find something you love to do and wouldn't mind doing on a regular basis without feeling frustrated or bored. Build up a system so you can sell what you love (could be selling affiliate products via youtube or just a blog selling amazo products or maybe designing or writing services). The next step is to figure out the marketing part. This forum would help you understand that better.

    Best of luck.

    Hi to you too!

Most of us started in this game in the financially struggling mode so do not use that as an obstacle to your success.

And, do yourself a favor. Don't try to buy opportunity. No one can give you success through a book, video, webinar or any other kind of coaching.

The good ones will give you good instruction, tools and resources to move you forward but you have to do the work.

And, that's where your journey starts.

They're lots of roads to internet success. Some will be for you and some will not.

Initially, take the time to find out what's most appealing to you. This may take a moment because there's so much.

Just expect failure on your way to success...that's part of the game.

And, once you find your groove, it's a lot of fun!

    Rainee

P.S. It's going to take a little while to have the skill-set to create value. In the meantime, don't try to buy opportunity because it doesn't come in a bottle.
You don't buy opportunity; you create it.

Many people interested in internet marketing tend to look for quick solutions. Here is my advice and it should be all that matters in the beginning. Please ensure you have money to invest money. No solid business can run without you actually putting money back. So get a job, become stable and then do IM on a part time basis. Only when you are sure, leave your job. Most people won't tell you this.

Welcome to this forum. It is indeed a great place to learn and put action to your ideas.

Truthfully, I would look around and read a bunch of random posts and soak in as much information as you can - and don't do anything else. Some things will interest you, others will not.

Jot down all the things that sound interesting right now. And then dig deeper and do some research on those things. Read outside the forum, too...

From there, I would begin by asking yourself what you want out of this? There are so many different ways you can go. What are you good at? What are your interests? Once you become fully aware of yourself - the way you think and the way you act - then you can set some specific goals for yourself (based on what you want)...

I guess my point is... don't go running around like a chicken with his head cut off just because somebody said its a good idea. What's good for one person, may not be the right thing for you. And unless you survey the landscape and your inner self... you may find yourself in the wrong place in the not too distant future.

And hey, there's nothing wrong with that, either. But you don't want to end up in too many wrong places, too fast... because that can destroy your confidence.

    Best.

    Hi MUSER88,

Start simple, start an online blog, start writing about your experiences just like me - Head over to fiveinthemorning dot com to see what I mean.

We're all in this together and there's a lot of good info in here...Just don't start buying everything you see and not getting round to using it.

    Welcome to the forum MUSER88

I'm new to this forum too and I'm still finding my way in. I suggest you start by using skills that you already have, such as web design, writing etc. Seek out familiar industries too.

Remember there's really no such thing as get-rich-quick programs in the net. Everything requires effort and strategy. Sometimes, patience.

You're in the right community! Read on some threads and I'm pretty sure you'll be able to catch a trick or two. Good luck!

    Welcome to Warrior Forum MUSER88!

It's awesome to have you here

It is nice to see that you're asking a reasonable question "Where do I start?" - You would be amazed at how many people ask highly unrealistic questions like "How I can start making $500 / day by next month?"

Achieving success like that in a short period of time is unlikely, not impossible, just very very hard.

To answer your question from my experience, start blogging. Now, I'm not talking about opening a blog and writing about how to make money online, or anything like that.

You have two main choices, you could either write about what you are doing online. This is what I'm doing with my personal blog.

Or, you could write about something that interests you. This could be photography, or running a small holding, or wildlife. Don't worry about the money, focus on this first. You'll learn how to monetise your blog later on in time.

Obviously, this is just one of ways you could start. There a literally a lot more, this is just what has worked for a lot of people.

Be sure to reach out if you're unsure of anything, I'm always happy to help

      Welcome!

      Some 2 cents ->

      1. Always remember that in order to make money in any way
online or offline, you need to understand the exchange which is:

      Product/Service = Payment

You will ONLY receive payments if you deliver VALUE via your Product/Service.
Payment is driven by PEOPLE, people will only give for VALUE.
You are of value when you are TRUSTED. Build trust....

      2. There are five handfuls of ways to make money online, go with what you ENJOY
doing, it will make it a thousand times easier.
How would you know what you love doing?-> Just start DOING. Take action....

      3. DO NOT GIVE UP when you "fail".See "failure" as FEEDBACK. Hard but powerful....

      4. Believe in YOURSELF first before believing in a product. Get inspired...

      5. ADAPT to change and except to LEARN new skills. It's fun.....

      6. Take action

      7. Take more Action

Where to begin -> Warriorforum is a great way to start, search for other forums, blogs,
social networks. Connect with people, ask questions, go for people with credibility, do not trust anybody, there's allot of "Blind Leading The Blind".

Good luck and I hope you have a awesome journey.

    Hi MUSER88,

I started off like you, in a financial rut so i know how you feel.. Don't rush into get rich quick schemes or any schemes that promise money within a few weeks..

start off by building your knowledge in places like warriorforum..

What I did in the beginning was to start a blog on wordpress.. basically just spending $3 a month on hosting and drawing traffic to my blog..

with a steady influx of traffic, i became an affiliate with clickbank and paydotcom and started promoting some items and getting some sales..

With the income from there I invested in solo ads and started building my list...

its a slow start but a steady one! key is to persevere!

    All the best!

Hello Muser, I spent the weekend watching Top Chef and I learned a lot about life. Haha, no but in reality there is a lot to learn by watching people at the top of their game. Understand this is about mindset and if you really want something, and you move forward without questioning yourself, it will fall into place. The key is to make sure you're always in control of your own direction and you don't let anyone else sidetrack you. I suggest learning a skill like pay per click advertising that you can use regardless of what niche you go into or whether you do offline or online marketing. Anyway, something drew you into this and if you work at it you can turn it into a lifestyle.
