I find it hard to believe that ANYONE falls for this - suckers, suckers.

I saw a new member on this forum yesterday who has listed his location as "United State of America"...and I thought "sure you are, dear".

      Kay,

You're right... but I have friends... and relatives that don't think and click, click, click. Then I (their computer guy) get a phone call...

The interesting thing to me was that this slipped through Gmail's pretty good spam filters.

      So, there you go.

The way things are these days, WHO KNOWS? I have had american born coworkers actually talking to me in what I call Inglish! I ask them WHY they are talking that way, and they actually didn't notice!

PayPal, different banks, "relatives" in Nigeria and even our phone company all "really" send emails but they are all actually spam/scam/hackers.

My dad rings me to ask if something is bad about emails he gets. I always explain how to tell but he doesn't get it. If people aren't very computer literate, they can easily be fooled...sad to say.

Only silly billies fall for spoof emails nowadays.

You just don't click links and login via the URLs if you need to check. Simple.

In every single one of these emails despite them often being mostly well worded they always make a typo. Like informations or a grammatical error!

Haven't these Eastern Europeans ever heard of a thesaurus or dictionary?

What are the criminal fraternity coming to these days!

Not to forget the obvious fact that you NEVER click on a link in an email to login to your account!
