A police officer, on the pretense of "looking for a kid" decided to trespass property. In one case, he felt threatened by a dog, so decided to use it for target practice. He shot the dog many times.

Other police officers decided to tell the owner, and had the audacity to say he had a right to simply shoot the dog, that "probable cause" did NOT apply to dogs! That is BULL!!!!!!

Look at the definition of probable cause:

prob·a·ble cause
nounLAWNORTH AMERICAN
reasonable grounds (for making a search, pressing a charge, etc.).

Does it apply to dogs? NO! Does it apply to HUMANS? ******NO!!!!!!!****** It applies to the CIRCUMSTANCE!

The officer had NO right to go back there, and should have been more careful anyway, but he TRESPASSED! HE committed a crime, and the dog paid for it with its life. Had he not been there, he and the dog would still be living their lives in peace.

Did he really think the kid was playing hide and seek from him? I mean if the kid was hiding, the officer could have taken forever to find him. If the kid was somehow lost back there, he could have responded to a cop calling his name. Did he go into HOUSES too?
