Is this Scan Tack A Part of WF? Or is my PC infected?

On the left hand side of the Forum is a column for Scan Tack so called related searches. Is this a part of the Forum now? Or is my Chrome browser infected?. Everytime I click on a link on the forum I get a new tab opened for an ad which is immediately blocked by Avast:


Sheesh! I just clicked on a blank space on the screen and it happened again, is this really a part of the new owners desire to make more money?

Driving me nuts this thing!

      Same here, if this was something they did I doubt they'd have anything but spam bots here by tomorrow morning.

    Yeah, it's my bad. Somehow we installed the software and I've just Googled it and you guys have hit the nail on the head.

    I've just uninstalled it and rebooted the PC. I'm just waiting to see what happens when I fire up the browser again.

    The Uninstall worked! I didn't notice when it first started happening, but it coincided when I came back to the forum after a bit of an absence.
