What if they're not stars? What if they are holes poked in the top of a container so we can breath?

Acknowledging he was lucky that his family wasn't in the vehicle ...
is pretty large thank you ... imo of course.

I have heard to many stories to count about people doing
super human things when some one is in trouble.

Mother picking up car off a child , dad pushing a two ton boulder off a leg
      stuff like that.

What I never hear is the follow up. Did they hurt them selves ... but were
to amped to notice when they were in the moment.

I am wondering - ripped tendons, muscles, hernias, heart attack ...anything?

Sure, there is damage. They may be to "in the zone" to notice these things, but sure...muscles tear, tendons tear, and there are heart attacks...blown blood vessels....serious damage.

And sometimes these stories are a little exaggerated. Sometimes leverage assists, sometimes they report "He tore the door off a car" when it would have been more accurate to say "He bent back a corner of the car door window frame."

But yeah, we all are wired to never use our full strength..because of the potential damage.

Rest assured, if there were a box on MoonPies stuck in a burning car, Claude would summon the strength to rip the entire car in half.

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

Why didn't the guy inside the car, holding his breath because it was filling with smoke, just let himself out. I hate incomplete stories.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.
