My introduction, 20K launch and what to do now

Hi everyone,

As i'm new in Warrior Forum (and I couldn't find a forum to introduce myself), I'd like to introduce myself in this thread.

My online adventure stared 3 years ago when I was introduced to a 'make money online' course. I had no clue what internet marketing was back then, but amounts of 250 dollar per day sounded really good, and I decided to buy the course for 47,- dollar. And it was the best 47,- dollar ever spend: it was my introduction to the internet marketing.

In the course I learned about affiliate marketing, SEO and WordPress. It was a very basic course, but the principle was to make 100 websites, which all made 2,50 dollar per day. Not very unique, but for me it was the first time I heard about this.

I created a few sites and after a lot of work, I started to earn some money. This was crazy! I actually could earn money while working from my computer! I never thought this was possible. As I was a lot of time online, this was awesome!

But to make 100 websites would be too much time and work. I started learning a lot more about internet marketing, and decided to make my own product. I started a website in the dating niche (how to attract women), started blogging and setting up my newsletter. I created my own e-book and sold it a few times. I earned 400 dollars with in total. And that with no clue about e-mailmarketing and sales pages.

This could actually get interesting!

I took a year 'out', started doing SEO for a local company, and thought about what I would do next. I created some affiliate websites (while I was working at the local firm), earned about 600-700 dollar per month, flipped them and decided to go full time internet marketing. I was 22 years old, so I had my whole life in front of me.

I decided to start my own "make money online" website, and started blogging. Created a free e-book - which people could download after opt-in, started giving cool information and making my own Make money online course.

My first launch was a total disaster. I thought I would earn to 10K, but i had a little less then 150 dollar. I thought about quitting IM, but I'm glad I didn't do. I did a re-launch, learned from the mistakes from my first launch, and earned 7K in one day.

Then I created a second product, did a webinar launch and earned about 12K.

This - again - was amazing!

I created a XXXX product, did a webinar launch and got no sales at all. I had big expectations, but no money was made.

I did a re-launch, and got 5K. This could be better!

I did a re-re-launch and got a little less then 20K.

Now, this all sounds like it all went very easy, but really, it wasn't. I give so much free content, that most of the people on my list are in there for the free content. They don't expect me to sell, and unsubscribe when I sell them my products.

Some of them don't, of course, but my conversion-rate is really low when you look at the size of my list, and the percentage which buy.

I got all my traffic of SEO (and a little big FB advertising), and got really good products and support.

But when I look at my competition, then it looks for me that they got it a lot easier. They got shitty products, do unrealistic claims, have no support, always sell products to their mailinglijst, and have a much higher income then me.

That's why I started to think to do things different, but I'm not sure yet how and íf.

I'm thinking about going into PPV and affiliate offers, since this is very much 'upscaleble' and no support. I know PPV is not easy, but I'm willing to go for it.

That's the reason why I decided to come over here and introduce myself. I always was a 'silent reader' here, but I think it's time to get serious with this and start with multiple projects instead of my own product.

Thanks for reading and I hope I can get some great advice here. I will try to share my views and advice on subjects I know about .

    Hello,

Welcome to the forum i'm sure you'll like it!

Yes that last part is very true, if you want to scale your business than paid traffic is definately the way to go. But many people have succeeded with PPV so there's no reason you won't be able to succeed too if you put in the effort.

    Good luck!

Welcome to the forum. Do a search for posts by PPC-Coach, Greedy, Luke Peerfly, ChrisBa. They have some good posts on PPV and search traffic.
