Well, she WAS light, and a gymnast, so she DID have two big things going for her. A lot of the men, I saw, had a problem with their weight, or flexibility. One guy made it ALL THE WAY to the point where you have to run up the track and wasn't allowed to continue because one toe was a little wet. He was too tall, and I guess he didn't consider that a fail.

Many men concentrate on weight and endurance, and gymnasts concentrate on what most of this course is! And MAN, the spider climb looked like it was MADE for her!

What if they're not stars? What if they are holes poked in the top of a container so we can breath?

Yes she did have those two factors going for her but also had some disadvantages also such, she's a women and doesn't have the strength that most men do and she was very short which made it difficult to complete certain sections of the course.

Yes she did conquer the spider climb with ease.

Everyone brings up the strength part that is just DUMB! If you had the flexibility, and could only lift 25 pounds, the course could be EASY! It is NOT how strong you are, but the relation of your strength to leverage and weight. Do they have ANYONE lifting up more than maybe 10 pounds anywhere on the course? NOPE! Almost every ounce you have to deal with is related to your own weight. As for height, a couple times they said "HERE, it could hurt her", but she probably could have had them swing closer to her if needed. But she didn't need it. ONCE, she kind of took a leap of faith, but that was probably more because she KNEW she could do it. AGAIN, not unusual in gymnastics.

I'm not belittling what she did. She did a great job. I think she ALSO did EVERY piece on the first try. I don't even think she slipped. I DID see some men make it that slipped or failed on the first try. I saw one guy, that was strong, etc... Try that ramp several times. He just couldn't get a grip. I just think she had more going for her than people are giving her credit for.

        Tagiscom,

WHY would anyone wish him ill, or want a fluffy bunny?

Pretty impressive feat for anyone, guy or gal. I couldn't do it. Well, maybe I could in a couple hours if I took several rest stops . . . and I trained for a few months . . . and I was half my age.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

Very, very impressive. Kacy Catanzaro is an outstanding athlete.

No doubt her very good looks will contribute to endorsement deals.

    Way to go Kacy Catanzaro
