I was on Pandora and heard this song - first time I'd heard it. It's beautiful and a real tribute to our service men and women.

    I hope America, and any daring to be among those ever called a hero, at least in the military, NEVER forgets one VERY KEY sentence in that song! It was only said once, apparently, but it is KEY!!!!!!!!!!!

    THAT is supposed to be, when all is said and done, no matter WHAT the battle, the reason for just about ANY in the military. Freedom SHOULD be free, easy, and peaceful, but rarely is.

      I have a stepson and two cousins who are USMC Wounded Warriors, another good friend of ours is a USMC Wounded Warrior; we have two other good friends who currently serve in the Navy and another family member in the Air Force. And another cousin who is an Army veteran.
