I knew about a few of those, but not all. Thank you for sharing it. As always, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

I try to keep up with things like that, as my own grandma often asks me about emails that she gets...that are scams. I'm very glad she asks, rather than just responding...not all people are as fortunate.

This makes me sick to see how far mankind has degenerated. Not like I didn't know but just a reminder. It has to stop someday...

I have been getting lots of nigerian scammers lately myself, with various people trying to do "business" with me, though I do know better than to respond to those.

Pretty much all new to me also, and as Patrician stated it's sickening to see how far humans have degraded ourselves to such a low level.

Never heard of 1 or 6 but have heard about the rest.
My mother when she was alive got a call like number 5.
She listened to it all even asked if it was Freddy (or some other name I forget) got all the information then called the cops.
What tipped her off from the beginning is she doesn't have any grand kids, but she sure did like to talk on the phone.

people haven't 'degraded', you just hear about it more now. People have always been ******* covered *******s with a ******* filling. The only difference is that now with things like the internet, you're more aware of it.

That's about right - they used to go door to door. Internet has just offered a more global victim list and heightened anonymity.

Thanks for this. There is too much freedom in using the internet and very few restrictions, a scammer only needs to be creative. Tsktsk. We really have to be careful.
