Michael Jackson Lives Forever

Michael Jackson has passed on.

Radios all over the world are now playing his music just like
how the military would promote a soldier's passing in the line
of duty.

His music and his dances will live on forever in digital form.

I personally would like to thank Google (even if they don't see
this) because...

1. Do a search for "Michael Jackson" and you won't see ANY
paid links to Michael Jackson so people don't cash in on his
death

2. They bought YouTube and we can remember the amazing
performances he has done - bringing inspiration and amazement
into a vehement mix of art.

Call me a fanboy - but yes, I'll always remember him.
Anyone care to share any other great finds of his performances?

Rest in peace, Michael.

Enough with the MJ threads already.
There are three here in the OT all ready and I'm sure more in the main forum.
    He died, get over it.

@Michael Motley: Well, Walmart's going to need to stock up
on his CDs and DVDs, for sure.

@ConcordeWarrior: I heard about it but I still believe people
        pushed him towards that direction.

Anyway, if anyone wants to know a little bit more about MJ,
PerezHilton.com currently has some information about him.
This post in particular is a recorded call released by the
        authorities:

There is a lot of money to be made from his death for the next few days.

TV is covering it for the psycological hypnotic effect of the masses, and that is good for ratings and advertising prices.

Ebay sellers are making a "Thriller" killing hocking Michael Jackson memorabilia.

And congress is going to pass that nations largest tax hike in a few hours while the sheeple are in a daze with the coverage. But you don't care about that, do you? Of course you don't (taking money out of your pocket and giving it to politicians and their corporate friends is good for you and the economy.)

      That's why.

Haha, I very reluctantly visited his blog but I was curious to
hear what the 911 call was. So I gave in.

Yeah, I don't really care about that. Like many of the
marketers who have expressed their views, I don't happen
to be on the "Bandwagon of Death".

Them making money with death doesn't mean I have to.

Michael Jackson's life is controversy. Love him or hate him,
he'll be the talk of the world.

      Once again.

Bullshit, I've called and emailed my congressman about this a few times.
As a side I've also been in contact with my state senator (NY) concerning their lack of work the last two weeks. Just read the senate agenda he sent me and commented on that and am about to read the reform release he sent.
I know you didn't mean me personally but don't lump us all into to the "Gee MJ is dead crowd"

Well, the thread title might have been a bit much but for
a person who appreciates MJ's music and his contributions,
            he lives forever.

Kinda unfortunate to not have many people jumping in on
this and celebrating his life and music (yet) but even if I
were doing this alone, I would.

If anyone else would like to share some great music finds,
            that'd be great!

Ash let me explain my first couple of comments.
First I have nothing against MJ.
I never liked his music, but think he was an incredible song writer with an incredible voice.
As for the other stuff about him, I don't know any of the facts and don't feel like it would be right to comment on them because of that.
The thing is as you know he is all over the news and the forum.
Every other celebrity who has died recently has one maybe two threads about it. That is why I asked why you didn't just post this in another thread.
I get you and many others are a fan, but this isn't the end of the world.
Come to think of it, the end of the world has less threads.
If I offended you, think about this. All these MJ threads are starting to offend others including me.
All of us will die. Some before our time, some after.

Thanks for voicing your thoughts, ThomM. I do recognize
that a lot of people are bringing up lots of threads about him
but the day a marketing guru passes on, I'm sure this forum
will be a buzz as well.

It's not the end of the world, as you say. However, based on
what I've been reading about how the internet is affecting
people, it lets people open up their inner selves and to really
express themselves in avenues they can't before.

For example, a fan in a broken down place like India may not
find other fans around him but he can find others on the web
and it appeases him & finds relief to be able to find other
        birds of the same flock.

I'm not jumping on the bandwagon of creating another thread
just to "cash in" on getting responses but I'm also finding a way
to find other fellow fans of his music (then again, I might be,
I just may not recognize it).

Threads like this will appear in forums all over the net and if
they offend you, they appease others as well.

I'm actually not offended by your comments because after 2
weeks from now, I'll look on this thread and I'll just shrug it off.
It's just that I have to put myself 2 weeks into the future right
        now... if that makes sense

          Thanks for explaining yourself Ash.
I probably shouldn't have jumped on you like I did.
I don't believe in giving excuses for my actions, but lets say my day has been less then stellar
If you noticed in one of the other MJ threads I replied to someone with the opening word of bullshit.(edit, I just realized it was this thread, told you it is a bad day) That post explains what I have been doing all afternoon after dodging lighting this morning trying to get one of my jobs done. Like I said, not a stellar day here.
