    Oddly, the same director made a stinker towards the end of his life (starring Tom Cruise?)

        I had a lot of fun watching the Lego Movie 3D recently. You may say it's too new to be 'the best movie I've ever seen', but it's really a cracker!

    I would say the most amazing action movie so far in 3D is the Transformers 4. I've hardly liked any movie after I saw it ;-)

        Indiana is almost completely irrelevant to the story:

        Whereas the main character of the best movie I've ever seen is completely relevant:
        It's a Wonderful Life.

      PPfffffttttthhhhhhh!!!!!!!

      I hope for breakfast, you had a bowel of corn flakes.

      Added later;

      My dear Dan; I actually read the article you liked to. You are right, in that Indiana wasn't necessary to the story. But he was necessary to the movie. Without him, there would have been very little comedy...and no romance. And the movie would have been 46 minutes long.

      Check and Mate.

      I also submit that It's A Wonderful Life is not your favorite movie. It is a Red Herring. You have simply listed it to throw me off the trail. Insidiously diabolical.
