Results of taking mooses on trip

Well, actually, they are rescue dogs, but to my family, they are the mooses.

The day before my birdieDay last week, we packed in 4 kids, a Malamute, a white Husky, the husband and me.... and started our drive to North Carolina.

On the trip down, we visited the Luray Caverns (they have an incredible Antique car museum as well.... original Model T Fords, Model As, etc.etc.etc.etc.). So that trip was 350 miles and we completed the journey the next day.

The return trip saw us driving all 700 miles in one day.

And Birdie (my son's parakeet and the star of several of my videos) was boarded at a friends house. He came home minus some flight feathers so I need to ask about that (we just picked him up yesterday).

End result - it's entirely possible to drive 700 miles with 6 people and 2 mooses in a mooseMobile. Make sure, though, to hide the Krispy Kreme donut box:

Happy to be home. Didn't exercise for 5 days and WOW.... I'm feeling that bad.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

Sounds like a fun trip.............other than losing your Krispy Kremes. Of course, that made the vacation perfect for the big fuzzy guy, so looks like a good time had by all.

Looks like there's a ghost of a woman or man in that antique car, on the left. What a great catch!

Or was it a cardboard cutout/reflection?

Happy Birthday. Sure wish your dog would have saved me a Krispy Kreme! Any time we go anywhere, food and drinks are always packed in coolers. Makes it kind of hard for the pup to sneak anything open.

Love the very nonchalant look on your dog's face! The Krispy Kremes were for him, weren't they....?
