I'm not an expert on phones, but I think if you take it to the store where you bought it, they might be able to help you out.

Yes, you'd find Samsung or at least phone experts in the store you got it from would be better than here to find a solution. Having said that anyone with a Samsung S4 might be able to help.

I'd head down the store or try and contact Samsung myself though.

Open Contacts and tap the menu button. That should show an option to import/export. Choose export and copy the resulting .vcf file to your computer or other backup. Copy that file onto the new phone and import it using the same process.

As far as I know, it's the same process for all Android phones.

Hi, I suggest you try Gihosoft Free Android Recovery. This software can scan your Samsung Galaxy S4 internal memory and lets you export all contacts from the device and save them on your computer in HTML format for safe backup. Besides, you can easily print your Samsung contacts in browser.

I believe there is a specially designed software, created by the developers of the phone, which allows you to do that.

        Here's one:

Now can we move on from a two year old post? The OP hasn't even logged in since making the post two years ago and most likely doesn't even have the phone any more.
