What criteria are used to determine when a thread gets deleted?

hi guys,

i'm new to this, so i was just wondering what criteria are used to delete a thread.

obviously being abusive or racist or hateful will get your thread deleted, but just wondering what some of the other reasons might be.

i'm asking, because john durham kindly offered me and a few others some coaching, but we haven't heard hide nor hair from him and haven't seen that thread listed anymore.

ps. as an aside, i've tried to post 2 threads that i haven't been able to find so i'm not sure what happened to those either.

      You are pushing your luck in starting multiple threads about this. The first complaint earlier today did have answers that were clear about what the problem most likely was. When threads are deleted - they're gone. You really need to drop this issue.

      You can pm the member who began the thread that was deleted - and there's nothing to keep him from answering you by PM.

        As a side note Kay the thread about it down here where they where posting links to the google cache of it was locked (may be deleted now).
        If that doesn't tell someone not to bring it up again, nothing will.

    Other members can do it autmotically if enough of them have reported the thread.

    For a start, self promotional threads are not supposed to be in the main WF forum.

    Unless you give us more details about that thread, I don't think anybody can help you.
