Why does so much useful information is give free on warrior forum

WF is gold mine of information. And not just information non-biased information. My question is why such useful information is given FREE. Of course I understand people in community wants to help each other etc but still.

    Because not everything is about money. While we all want to make money, helping others is of benefit as well...in many ways. This forum is a glowing example of that philosophy.

    Another reason for giving away free info. is a lot of times it's a complicated process that can generate sales from people that don't want to do the work but they want the end result.

    Example, If I took you step-by-step on how to build a Worpdress theme, you would see I can build a WP theme but you might rather simply pay than learn a new skill. For some people time is more important than money.

    Referrals can also help, considering it's impossible for anyone to read every single thread on this forum.

      I keep forgetting that. This membership isn't my audience, and that's why I can say things here that I would never say in front of a client...or even a relative.

      In the offline forum, I just like sharing ideas with like minded people. There are some extremely sharp people there.

      Here? It's playtime. If you read my posts in the offline forum, they are far more serious.

      But here? Really, it's just to enjoy myself....and in rare instances, have a serious discussion. There are several bright people here too.
