%^&*%$# RANT THREAD!
Ok, This is the Official Rant Thread, but not too much, we don't want this thread to close, or get locked!
Ok, l will go first, and l won't rant over the obvious one, (ranted enough about that) but there is plenty more, l will start with this video...
Ok, where to start, probably Foxtel or Paid tv, getting clobbered, by online services. Or Australians, (50% live from one paycheck to another) not being able to afford the, now $25 a month. That is good news, l hear you say, but it is turning tv into a intellectual desert since 2000, that still has me steaming!
We get a new release every 5 years or so, and the only new release we recently got was for some crappy Warner Bros, animation over live action. I was surprised some well know actors were in this, but it happened.
We would have to strangle a producer or CEO, to get to see, a half decent release, we would have to Kill a tv station CEO, to see the older, funnier version of the Pink Panther, we only get the modern crap in AU!!!! Grrrrrr!
Another rant, is old cartoons, or Warner Bros, 1940-55, l wouldn't mind seeing some of those again, but in AU, we only get modern crap!
The modern ones are so crappy, there is no, love and commitment there, just we have a half hour to fill, so we will do this.
Back then they usually put everything they had into it, so most were clever and whitty to say the least. These days they don't give a t****!
Of course we don't see anything, or virtually nothing, without resorting to paid tv!
I could also rant about all the Lux, plain soap in Au, disappearing!!!!
And only the strong smelling crap being left, (well left in full boxes!
I don't know whether the two main supermarkets are to blame or the company behind them, but it is annoying, to put up with this constant, hold back on popular brands, so our shareholders can make a bigger profit crap!
But thankfully l have found that local chemists, still stock it!
It wasn't fun using this while recovering from a nasty virus!
