Saw this a little bit ago. I think Sir Charles makes a sweeping statement about what black parents do in the South with their children. I was raised and grown in the South. Its just not always true, whatsoever
I also think he errors in his semantics. Spanking a child in many cases is totally different than whipping kids and leaving welts on their bodies. He seems to freely interchange these ideologies as if there the same during the interview with Rome !
