Hello
I have just done a number of videos, saved them to my computer, etc.
I edited and converted one of the videos with AVS Converter - that is, I trimmed off the beginning and ending which were unnecessary and then converted the avi file to mpeg, and it all went well - ONLY THING WAS...I NOW HAVE NO SOUND.

Although I only edited one of my videos, I cannot get any sound out of any of the other videos either. All of them were working perfectly before this editing and conversion. I think I must have tripped something during the editing and conversion process. Would welcome any suggestions on how to rectify the problem.

But please keep any suggestions VERY simple as I am...technically challenged.

Thanks

    Hi Lazi,

I have come across this before. I am not a video expert by any means but I have solved this problem before. MPEG does something weird that I don't understand but when I converted to an .MP4 or other format I found that my sound returned. However I think I will step aside and let a video guru field this one.

      Thanks Matt
My conversion from avi to mpeg was actually OK. It was just when I edited it first and then converted it to mpeg that the sound problem occurred. It is strange that it happened to all my other videos as well, so I suspect I changed something on my computer and not just on my original video. I just spent about 4 hours on help sections but could not find anything. Very frustrating.
      THanks again

    Hey lazi,

Josh Anderson, who is an experienced warrior and video gun might be able to help you: WarriorForum - Internet Marketing Forums - View Profile: Josh Anderson. I still think that going from an uncompressed .avi to .mpeg is where the sound issue is occuring, maybe try going from .avi to .mp4..lol.. you can use the free converter called Prism video converter. All the best. Check out Josh's stuff.

    Matt

    Cheers
