Pretty lame lists compared to what isn't banned here.
Raw milk from grass feed cows (or cows fed their natural diet) is actually very healthy. It's mainly because of the unnatural feds given to dairy cows that requires milk to be pasteurized. By the way I grew up drinking raw milk fresh from the cows teat.

    Banned
    @ Thom

I also grew up drinking some fresh milk straight from the farm. That said, my step-brother once opened up a short-lived coffee shop in Iowa City named Louis Pastuer's.

HEYYYYYYYYY!!!! I have to take a Coumarin. for the rest of my life.

    Quick, QUICK, *****QUICK*****!

What food was loved by many americans, and just about EVERY American had it up until maybe 1980? It was BANNED because of a minor thing. Though sold today, it is a little different. SONGS have been made about it! Many earlier movies showed it! Most places that sold it in restaurants now sell ANOTHER popular food, but it STILL seems popular.

The EU tried to ban it, for the same reason the US did, but a member country DEMANDED that it be allowed, so THEY now have it, though I don't believe it is allowed elsewhere!

Interestingly, though they do NOT speak English as a first language, they have ALSO called the food by its American name.

WHAT is the food and country, and WHY did they ban it?

    HAVE YOU GUESSED?
