Oooh, I wouldn't mind shooting some of those down - easier than pigeons and pheasant (though they probably taste better)? I'd worry about what happens to the bullets, though, when I miss ...

Need some enterprising engineer to create a virtual "net" in the sky that will shut down drones over YOUR property and cause them to crash.

A little drone hacking is in order.

The five students who were in contact with the patient went to four different schools earlier in the week, but had no symptoms, officials said. Extra health workers and custodians will be on hand at those schools plus another nearby school that none of the children attended. The schools include three elementary schools, a middle school and a high school, officials said.

"GNSS receivers are susceptible to intentional interference and spoofing," according to the overview report, which was delivered by an FAA expert at an international conference in New Zealand in April. "Inexpensive, and readily available, GNSS repeaters and GNSS simulation tools can transmit hazardously misleading information 'spoofing' GNSS use."

That much had been suspected since UAV tests at White Sands Missile Range, which allowed University of Texas researchers to demonstrate in 2012 how a drone could be made to dive toward the ground by spoofing.

I wonder if you could use some sort of jammer to block the signal to the drone.

Could be the next big product!

That's what the article I read said that the GNSS is fairly easy to spoof (hack) (GNSS repeaters and GNSS simulation tools can transmit hazardously misleading information 'spoofing' GNSS use.") making them head straight for the dirt, if that's where you want them to do. lol.

            I like it.

I also would like a car-net. When anyone drives close to me and they are texting, talking on their phone or using their tablet, car-net automatically flashes a pic of a trucker's man-boobs and the battery starts smoking.

            I'll bet that's coming.

Mirrors. Shiny metals. They reflect signals and confuse the craft. That's where the expression "tinfoil hat" comes from.

makes Kanye West mad, then please imagine what it might do to an ordinary, less controlled mortal.
Less controlled than Kanye West?! Is that really possible?
