Default Anyone using InfoFree.com? Can you help me out?

I tried to sign up for InfoFree.com as a source for US business leads but they require a US credit card. Since I'm in Canada they said there is nothing they can do to help me.

Does anyone want to share an InfoFree.com membership?

I would send the money upfront each month via PayPal. I took a quick look at their terms and didn't see anything preventing that. I assume it would be no different than allowing a VA to access the information as well as the account creator.

Let me know if anyone can help me out.

Thanks,
Jennifer

Would you not be able to use one of those virtual credit cards to sign up? Then you would be more in control, rather then replying on someone else.

Thanks, I will look in to whether they have an address associated with them.

InfoFree.com requires a US address to be entered at the time of ordering. I even have a US card from a US bank, but my billing address is in Canada so the manager returned my call and said "if you want to join, ask someone who lives in the US if you can use their card". Not very helpful!

I have a friend I chat with once in a while and he's in India. He got a US Address; it's in Texas. I should find out how he got that address. It's a mailing address for his business.

I have a personal rep at infofree since I have a few hundred people I've referred. I get a lot of people emailing me with the same question as you. One thing they will do is accept a check if it's for the entire yearly amount.

Unfortunately I don't know any other way. (if you need a promo code PM me for half off the price), or google around to see if you come up with one.

Thanks for the tip. I would have no problem sending a check! I found a coupon code in another post for half off so I was planning on the yearly membership anyway.

It's too bad I didn't realize sooner that I would not be able to signup for an account with my credit card. I'm ready to start contacting businesses tomorrow and mailing a check and waiting for them to cash it could mean weeks of waiting.

Other than Sales Genie, does anyone recommend a different lead source?

Hi Jennifer,

I am also in Canada, but I know how to get around this issue with relative ease, so you should have no problem getting access to InfoFree...

I've done this many times before so I know for certain this works with no repercussions or anything like that...

Just get a pre-paid/gift-card credit card. Anywhere/anykind will be fine, like from MoneyMart, Safeway, etc. I actually get my visa gift-card straight from RBC because theirs is the absolute cheapest/best value anywhere that I've been able to find so far (and I looked at the terms/costs for a LOT of different cards)... and you don't even need to be an RBC customer, although you will need 2 pieces of gov't ID if you're not.

Now here's the thing, just because you purchased it and they took down your Canadian address, you still need to REGISTER the card online. It is a GIFT-CARD, so that means you're able to "gift" it to anyone, and it is up to that "person" to register it with "their" details. The bank only takes YOUR information just in case, I'm thinking probably for track-back purposes in case there is any sort of fraud or stuff like that.

However, this is not a problem at all... like I said, I do this all the time (that is, registering my c/c's with an alias, american address, etc. NOT fraud!)

So once you have your new prepaid or giftcard cc, you'll go to that card's website to register it so it can be used, and that's when you'll enter in ANYTHING you want!

Often times I don't even use a real name or address, but I would suggest to use an actual zip code, not 12345 or something, because occasionally there might be a third-party shopping cart (let's say InfoFree's site, for example), that automatically won't accept any invalid zip code. Some shopping carts don't have that function and so an invalid zip code can be input, but then again, some systems you will have to use a valid zip, so that's why I usually make sure that my new/fake address is in a real city/state with correct matching zip code.

Anyway, I'm sure I probably waaaay over-explained this which probably could've been explained in a couple quick sentences, but there you go Jennifer... now you have all the details and tips on how you get your own InfoFree account without actually having a real american address &/or without having to share someone else's account!

Cheers
~ J.
