As I'm sure many of you are well aware, Google recently made some changes to Places. As such there's been a huge uproar about the changes and there's been a ton of questions in regards to ranking, optimization, and reviews. I've been doing a fair bit of research since the changes and I know other prominent Offliners such as Brain Anderson have been too. I've told many of my customers to continue doing exactly what they did before and to not make any drastic changes in the methods that have been successful in the past. I highly recommend not buying any products (WSO's) on the new changes as its of my opinion and some of my peers opinions that the dust hasn't settled and that Google + Local is still rather "half baked" as Brain puts it. = ) Guys just do yourselves a favor and keep the money in your wallets until the dust settles. I know some people are going to disagree with me but that's fine you are free to express your opinions but as I said, I'm telling my Zen Master and GPScraper users to not buy anything yet. |

That's how I'm handling all my local clients right now. "Keep calm and carry on" is a good attitude to have at this moment. If you want to stay updated, read Mike Blumenthal's blog, or Linda Buquets's blog, or hang out on the Google Product forums. I'm thinking it'll be a few months before things are "back to normal" (whatever that is) in the Googleverse.

Thanks Russ - I completely agree. The last thing anyone should do right now is buy a WSO on this topic. There will be a time and place for new courses and strategies on the Google Places / Google Plus Local transition, but now is not that time! |

Rus, Great suggestion for everyone except the "gurus" who were gonna launch a new WSO to help out all of us dummies. Love it man. The truth is refreshing. Thanks for an excellent post. Tom |

This is no different than other WSO launches. Some guys will try to create their products BEFORE the big guns decide when is THE RIGHT time to teach people about G+. Some of them will create trash and some might end up being copied by more known info-sellers or marketers... We will see :-) Thomas |

The funny thing about this... is that some people are already marketing stuff about ranking with this new change. We know that this wasn't anything but cosmetic, but for sake of argument, how can anyone REALLY have a system after a week? LOL. I agree with you... This is obviously a trending topic, and people notice that fact and want to profit off of other people's fear. |

As a matter of fact my course is still being used by myself and many others who bought it. I think its even more relevant today then before! Great headline also! If I come out with a G+ report I'm swiping it! ![]() |

| My thoughts exactly. Some of these WSO's are just so scammy.
